There is a Best Western that is actually right next to Dana Farber. They do have a medical rate but now you need to get something in writing showing that you are a patient there.

The Holiday Inn has a medical rate, is cheaper, close to the T stop, more restaurants nearby and has a free shuttle to Dana Farber.

463 Beacon Street Guest House
A little farther away, a couple of blocks from the T stop, easy to get to Dana Farber. Nice big rooms with a kitchenette (including dishes)in a old brownstone, large rooms. Very reasonable.
Holiday Inn in Brookline on Beacon Street. It's just a few blocks from Dana Farber (very walkable) and they have a medical rate ($129/night) with free parking plus they offer a shuttle from the hotel to the hospital (in case it's raining and you don't want to walk!) ---
Also, there are several VERY good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, plus a good bookstore, and other shops. On top of the excellent care and personal interest of the sarcoma team, the location makes the entire Dana visit quite nice.
