Christopher Windham is an expert sarcoma surgeon on the east coast of Florida. He teaches as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Florida State University College of Medicine.
He previously taught at U of South FL and practiced at Mofitt. He has operated on several of our members. He is a great guy as he has given time to write and review content for GSI's website.
A good GIST surgeon in Florida is Dr. Christopher Windham at Ormond Beach (now at Daytona Beach).
He was previously at Moffitt, but Moffitt has now lost most of its sarcoma-savvy doctors. Dr. Windham can do duodenal GIST surgery such as pancreaticoduodenectomy (Whipple). He wrote a piece on abdominal anatomy for us and reviewed our summary of surgical procedures. See the links above.
Medical oncologist Padmaja Sai, MD:-- Dr. Sai is interested in GIST.
