Margaret von Mehren, MD is the medical oncologist who treats many GIST patients.
If I were asked to give Dr. Margaret von Mehren a grade, it would be 99.99999999. Dr. von Mehren is at the forefront of GIST/sarcoma and ultimately will be responsible for longevity not currently discussed. That's the bottom line for all of us. Her knowledge of GIST and sarcoma is pretty astounding.
Also she is a kind person and lacks the 'obnoxious' personality shown by some doctors referenced on this support web.
I am a person who has questioned everything since the day I was born, but I do not question anything that Dr. von Mehren says.
