GIST Support WikiHello everyone, and hello to Canadian members in particular. I wanted to let you all know that I am working to put the Canadian group on an established footing. I plan to incorporate Life Raft Group Canada as a federal non-profit corporation in Canada; I am now working with a lawyer to do this. We will soon be starting a Canadian LRG web page (I have purchased www.liferaftgroup.ca). We will not aim to duplicate the main (US) web site, but rather will focus on Canadian activities and issues, e.g. availability of clinical trials in Canada; news about Canadian treatment options; drug plan coverage in Canada; etc. And we are planning several more get-together and information meetings over the next six months - I hope to include Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa, and at least one point west - likely Edmonton or Vancouver. A high priority is to establish a Board of Directors for LRG Canada, so that we can incorporate. Please let me know your thoughts and ideas!
