GIST Support WikiPost Embolization Syndrome
I had the post embolizaton syndrome, with severe nausea that could not be blunted by the IV anti-emetics. I remember not feeling very perky for about a month.
Here are some links about embolizaton that include comments about post embolization syndrome. The one from MD Anderson does mention that it sets in about 2-3 days after the procedure. Another mentions that the scope of the embolization, prior embolizatons, and emboli that block the gall bladder could exacerbate post embolzation syndrome.
