I see Keith Skubitz also. I continue to be pleased with his level of knowledge with regard to this type of cancer. He is the only oncologist I could find in this northern area that had any experience with GIST without heading out east.
I think that would be a great idea to add Dr. Tuttle to the WIKI page. As I said in the post, both he and Dr. Skubitz are wonderful.
My dad Harley was a patient of Dr. Skubitz for nearly 3 years. He was diagnosed in Aug 2003 and lost his battle in July 2006. He was 68 yrs old. I would highly recommend Dr. Skubitz He is very knowledgeable with gist. Also, if surgery is required I would highly recommend Dr. Todd Tuttle, at the U of Minnesota.
